- 4-5 medium onions, peeled and sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt to taste (optional)
Place the onions in the slow cooker and drizzle olive oil over top. Cover and cook on low for 10 hours, stirring once or twice if possible. Season with salt to taste.
Freeze in small portions for later use, either in small container or in zipper seal baggies.
