Roasted brussels sprouts

From Veal chops with balsamic glaze

Brussels sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1 lb brussels sprouts, washed and sliced in half lengthwise
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Remove any yucky leaves from the outside of the brussels sprouts. Toss in a bowl with olive oil, salt and pepper. Place, cut side down, on the lined baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes, until sprouts are slightly browned. Serve immediately.
