(Inspired by smitten kitchen)
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
3 ounces semi-sweet quality chocolate, roughly chopped (about 1/3 cup)
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon seeds from a fresh vanilla bean
1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until powdery. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 months.Heat a cup of milk in a saucepan over medium heat until steamy. Add 3 tablespoons of the mix. Whisk over heat for a minute or two, until it begins to simmer and mix is completely dissolved. Enjoy!
