From Chicken shawarma salad featuring Roasted Rojo
(Makes two meal-sized salads)
Ingredients
- 4 cups shawarma style chicken
- 4 packed cups romaine lettuce, washed and sliced into bite size pieces
- 1 cup canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup diced white onion
- 1/4 cup fresh parsely, minced
- 1 cup sliced cucumbers
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 cup lebanese garlic sauce (Toum)
- 1/2 cup hot sauce of your choice (I used Sauce Empire’s Roasted Rojo)
Preparation
Divide the lettuce on two plates and arrange the chickpeas, onion, cucumbers, and tomatoes on top. Top with shawarma style chicken, feta cheese and parsely. Drizzle garlic sauce and hot sauce over top as dressings.
