Mojito memories

But I just couldn’t omit the mojito from the fabulous Cuban fiesta we recently enjoyed at the Soph n’ Stuff household.

Huddled in my kitchen, protected from the wintry outside world, watching the Frijoles Negros simmer away on the stovetop, we thoroughly enjoyed our little Cuban cocktails.

The method is easy. 1 part rum to 2 parts sparkling water (I don’t like mine too rummy). Ice Cube. Muddled mint leaves and a splash of fresh lime juice. Oh, and don’t forget the cane sugar.
